Our Process

Our Cleaning Technicians are the backbone of the Just Peachy system and because of that, our bar is high. We keep this bar high to protect you (the client), them (the technician) and us (the employer).

Here is how we make sure our Cleaning Technicians are perfect for the job.

STEP 1 : OUR REQUIREMENTS

Before being considered for a position with Just Peachy Cleaning, all applicants must satisfy a list of requirements, which include:

  • ​Have a clean Level 2 Criminal Record Check performed by Ottawa Police Services

  • Have a relatively clean driver's abstract, an Ontario driver's license with a reliable, fully insured vehicle

  • Be able to physically perform the duties of the position

  • Are WHMIS Certified within the last 12 months

  • Are able to communicate in one or both of our National Languages fluently at minimum (other languages are a bonus)

  • Have a working smart phone with data

STEP 2 : IN PERSON INTERVIEW

Once they have satisfied those requirements, we meet the candidate IN PERSON. This is mandatory.

This interview is similar to other job interviews. We are able to get a feel for the candidate just as they can get a feel for our company so we can make a mutual decision as to whether we are a good match.

STEP 3 : PRODUCT & PROCESS TRAINING

Once we've decided we're a good fit for each other, the candidate is offered employment with Just Peachy Cleaning Co. But it doesn't end there!

We now begin training our new Cleaning Technician on our products and processes to maintain safe practices and consistency throughout our team.

This training includes:

  • Thorough training on all our products

  • Demonstrate how to clean multiple surfaces with our products and equipment

  • Safe use of our equipment

  • Deep dive into our Employee Handbook and Employee Procedures

STEP 4 : FIRST SHIFT

The first shift will be in a team with one or more Cleaning Technicians where the new Technician can shadow someone who has experience with our company. This allows the new Technician to see a day in the life of one of our People where they will be guided, given valuable tips and boost their confidence.
